Sydney's weather has been changeable over the past couple of weeks, not cold, but windy and with a fair bit of cloud. Yesterday we took a drive in to meet up with friends living in the Killibilli area of the city. Locals tell us that it's always windy in Sydney, but yesterday it was overcast as well. We had thought of having a picnic somewhere, but it really wasn't picnic weather. Instead we wandered around for awhile taking some pictures, before going to our friends house. In the evening we had a great meal in a Thai restaurant. The food was superb, reasonably priced and there was plenty of it. One thing seemed strange though, in most restaurants you can take in your own drinks, even though they sell their own. Australia produces some great wines and the restaurant seemed well stocked, but following our friends lead we took our own, saving money by doing so, and had no problems. The food, more than enough for the six of us, cost just AUD 130 (€91.00).
It seems I've been travelling all my life. For the past eight years I've been following a simple, nomadic lifestyle, living and traveling full time in a camper van and meeting with other like minded travellers.
