Still thinking of Teresa we looked at the map and decided to turn round and retrace our tracks back to Adelaide and Two Wells. It meant an 800 kilometre round trip but would make both Teresa and Niki very happy. We arrived mid afternoon to be greeted by and a huge number of exotic birds which Teresa breeds. The house and rear garden are full of large bird cages, the birds are quite amazing, and very noisy when they want feeding. While at Teresa's we met Alan, an Englishman who has lived in Australia for some 20 years and has traveled extensively throughout the country in his Holden V8 "Ute" towing a camper trailer. A well traveled man it was good to talk to someone who enjoys traveling as much as I do, we swapped many stories of our world travels.
We bade farewell to Teresa and Alan and left Two Wells to retrace our steps to the southern coast and the Great Ocean Road. Once again we enjoyed our flake fish and chips in Robe and camped for the night in the rest area on the road to Mount Gambier.
It seems I've been travelling all my life. For the past eight years I've been following a simple, nomadic lifestyle, living and traveling full time in a camper van and meeting with other like minded travellers.
